I booked the 3 day adventure pack, which for me included a plane ride (got to drive it myself, and thanks to Lorenzo!!), an awesome boat ride by the owner and a surfing lesson by one of the workers. I really had a great time here! It didn’t feel like a commercial place, they like personal contact. The hostel itself is very spacious, nice outdoor area, big rooms and a big kitchen. The people were very social. Thank you Cool Bananas!

Great place, great people, and amazing hostel!

Hands down the best hostel on the east coast. The staff are lovely human beings who welcomed me in immediately and were always inviting me on little adventures in Aggie. Flying with Lorenzo was insane too. Rooms are big and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The most negative comment I can make is that they ran out of cool bananas stickers 🙁 haha gutted to have said bye bye to the bananas so soon

My bus got turned around due to flooding and cool bananas was available to help those of us stranded at 4:30am!!! getting us beds and letting us use the hostel the whole day until the next bus. Hostel was clean and super friendly vibes !! Thank you again

As soon as you get picked up by staff dressed as bananas, you know you’re in for a good time. It’s such a fun way to start your stay, and it instantly makes you feel welcome.The hostel itself is super cozy, with hammocks to relax in during the day and a fireplace to gather around at night. It’s the perfect size—not too big, so it has a familiar, friendly atmosphere where you easily connect with other travelers.The owner is incredibly kind and makes sure everyone feels at home. Everything is kept very clean, and the location is great—just a short walk to the beach!

Best hostel i’ve stayed at so far, the vibes were very nice and chill since it’s a smaller hostel. We got stuck due to cancelled busses and had to stay longer, but we felt very welcome and the staff helped us out a lot. Definitely worth a visit!!
